Augsburg (dpa) - The robot manufacturer Kuka wants to come back into the black in the coming year after the burglary caused by the corona pandemic.

The executive board of the Augsburg-based company expects that there will be an economic recovery in 2021, combined with higher sales and positive earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT).

As the company reported on Tuesday, an operating minus (EBIT) of between 108 million and 118 million euros is expected in the current financial year.

In 2020, sales are expected to decline from 3.2 billion euros in the previous year to 2.6 billion euros.
