In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and under the direct follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Affairs Presidency, President of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works, the Foundation signed an agreement with the Turkestan Regional Government in the Republic of Kazakhstan to build His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital, in the city of Turkestan, on an area of 3.5 hectares, within the framework of the distinguished relations between the UAE and Kazakhstan .
The agreement was signed by the Director General of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, Muhammad Haji Al-Khoury, and the Governor of the Turkestan Region, Shukyev Omerzak Estayuli, in the presence of the Deputy Governor of Turkestan Region Erman Sapitov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State, Madyar Minilikov, and the Medical Director of the Turkestan Region, Marat Pashimov.
Mohammed Haji Al-Khoury said, “The project comes as a continuation of the Emirati support for friendly and brotherly countries, and within the commitment of the humanitarian institution and its general strategy that deals with health and education locally, regionally and internationally, and affirms the humanitarian approach of the Emirates and its leadership in consolidating humanitarian work and transforming it into sustainable development work that states and societies benefit from. ».
For his part, the Governor of the Turkestan region, Shukiyev Umerzak Estayuli, thanked the UAE leadership, government and people for their continuous support, and for this generous humanitarian initiative, and the speed of guidance and response by the UAE leadership to start implementing the hospital of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Kazakhstan, what It indicates the depth of relations that bind the two friendly countries, and promotes joint work between the humanitarian and health institutions between the two countries.
It is noteworthy that the hospital, for which the initial design work has been initiated, will be located within the new administrative area being developed by the Turkestan Regional Government, to be next to the Central General Hospital, and another hospital specializing in children.
