Hamburg (dpa / lno) - A 20-year-old allegedly stabbed his father in the Hamburg district of Farmsen-Berne and seriously injured his life.
After the attack on the 44-year-old on Sunday lunchtime, the son himself called the emergency number and allowed himself to be arrested, said a police spokesman.
The background to the attack is still completely unclear, the homicide squad has started the investigation.
The father was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
