According to Taiwan media reports, recently some Taiwanese businessmen hope to organize a delegation to the mainland to vaccinate the new crown.
This is a good thing, which represents Taiwan compatriots' recognition of the mainland's epidemic prevention results and their trust in vaccine research and development.
But it is also an embarrassing thing. The two sides of the strait are clearly close at hand, and the compatriots on both sides of the strait are natural relatives, but the compatriots in Taiwan cannot vaccinate the mainland on the island. This situation is caused by the DPP authorities alone!
Regarding the epidemic prevention in the mainland, the DPP authorities have been watching from the very beginning with colored glasses of "anti-China" and "enmity", and have done a lot of hurting the feelings of compatriots on both sides of the strait.
At the beginning of the epidemic, they impatiently banned the export of Taiwanese masks to the mainland, closed most of the passages between the two sides of the strait, and prevented Taiwanese businessmen and their children (the so-called "Xiao Ming") in Hubei from returning to Taiwan.
After the epidemic in the mainland has been effectively controlled, the DPP authorities continue to create difficulties for "Xiao Ming", Lu Sheng and Lu enterprises under the guise of epidemic prevention, and set up numerous obstacles for them to study and work in Taiwan.
In the face of vaccine issues, the DPP authorities do the same.
Chen Shizhong, the head of Taiwan's health and welfare department, has repeatedly declared that Taiwan will not choose the new crown pneumonia vaccine developed by the mainland on the grounds that it is "unsafe."

If there is a vaccine available in Taiwan, who wants to spend thousands of yuan on air tickets and face the 28-day quarantine round trip to the mainland?
Isn't this all forced by the DPP authorities?

The public opinion on the island pays the most attention to when everyone can get the vaccine.
The ambiguity of the DPP authorities has caused everyone to worry and fear about the vaccine.
So what about the mainland vaccine that Chen Shizhong disliked?
According to public reports, there are currently five new coronavirus vaccines in mainland China undergoing phase III clinical trials, and vaccine research and development has entered the sprint stage, and this achievement is in the world's first phalanx.
After the mainland drug regulatory authority approves the listing, relevant companies can organize production on a large scale.
At present, dozens of countries and regions have put forward new crown vaccine procurement requirements to mainland enterprises.
In the multilateral field, China has maintained close communication and coordination with the World Health Organization and the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization. What's the point of opening up imports and insisting on not importing mainland vaccines to maintain "political correctness"?
It is nothing more than sacrificing the lives and health of the people of Taiwan and giving up the health and well-being of Taiwan compatriots.
How can these own political self-interests matter?
