  • Politics Sánchez dropped the dialogue with Inés Arrimadas against the criteria of the Government

Inés Arrimadas today defended in an interview in elmundo.es the negotiation with the coalition government because in this way, Ciudadanos "has unmasked Pedro Sánchez, who prefers to govern with the independence movement."

The leader of Cs explained that if her party had not negotiated the Budgets, they would be "much worse for the Spanish" and would include "more tax increases."

The liberal leader has accused the PP and Vox of "staying in the most comfortable position" to criticize and "settle into the opposition" without trying to make improvements in public accounts.

Cs, he argued, "has done the most difficult and we are convinced that our position is the best."

In an interview in elmundo.es, moderated by the deputy director of EL MUNDO, Joaquín Manso, Arrimadas has claimed that Cs has managed not to increase the VAT on concerted education, private health, that the personal income tax is not raised income of 50,000 euros or that the Corporation Tax is not raised for SMEs.

The president of Ciudadanos has defended that her party is an autonomous political project that is "the only party with a liberal center in Spain", so it is advisable that it be presented separately, although in specific circumstances it may be in coalition with the PP.

The deputy for Barcelona considers that "the alternative to polarization" that Cs represents is "the best tool to remove Pedro Sánchez from power."

But in those moments or specific calls where the union of constitutionalism is necessary, Cs will propose it, as it has done in the Catalan elections.

Arrimadas has accused the Partir dels Socialistes de Catalunya (PSC) of wanting to "insult people in the face with their crude lies", such as ensuring that they will not agree with whoever wants independence, or even a referendum.

The liberal leader, who won the last Catalan elections, recalled that the PSC had already agreed with ERC.

"And how can they not do it now that ERC has just supported their Budgets?"
