Köthen (dpa / sa) - Due to the current lockdown, Köthen Castle is initially offering a digital insight into the special exhibition on the "Natural History of Birds".
A film shows the virtual vernissage, announced the museum in Köthen Castle on Monday.
The exhibits and text panels have already been set up on site.
A visit is only possible if the current restrictions due to the corona pandemic are lifted.
The show deals with the work "Natural History of the Birds of Germany" by ornithologist Johann Friedrich Naumann, published in 1820.
Among other things, the genesis of the publication will be examined.
It is said to be the basis of modern ornithology in Europe.
