Sömmerda (dpa / th) - A couple's breakfast dispute over where to place a used tea bag has come to a head in Sömmerda that the woman and the man attacked each other for hours.
The 52-year-old woman insulted her partner and threw a teapot at him, the police said on Monday.
She also kicked him in the genitals when the man tried to get her out of the room.
The 77-year-old is said to have hit the woman in the face with his fist and tried to throw her down the stairs.
From all this, both would have suffered minor injuries on Sunday.
The couple is now being investigated for assault.
