Magdeburg (dpa / sa) - Theater Magdeburg wants to welcome the new year virtually with half an hour of music, drama and dance.

The different sections have teamed up for a digital New Year's greeting, as the theater announced on Monday.

According to the information, the recording will be available for two weeks from New Year's Eve.

Seven musical and literary pieces are presented within 30 minutes - including a dance from the ballet "The Nutcracker" by Peter Tschaikowsky and a harmony music from the opera "Don Giovanni" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Artists from the philharmonic orchestra, theater and ballet are involved in the project, directed by Christiane Hercher.
