As current president of
ECCAS
, Denis Sassou Nguesso consults the heads of member states and in particular the Rwandan Paul Kagame who has just sent troops to Bangui, explains a diplomatic source in Brazzaville, not surprised to see the situation degenerate .
François Bozizé
was received a few weeks ago by Denis Sassou Nguesso.
"
And we could feel the rage in him
," this diplomat in Brazzaville still confides.
The Congolese president then told him "
not to set the house on fire
".
This diplomat assures on the other hand that contrary to rumors, there was no recent phone call between François Bozizé and the head of state of Congo.
Interference ...
On the Chadian side, we are also looking at the current crisis with a lot of concerns and we are tired of the Central African political class.
In any case, this is what an official source in N'Djamena says.
Here too, we want to deny the rumors: there are no Chadian soldiers engaged in the Central African Republic.
No meeting with François Bozizé, nor with his emissaries.
But this official explains on the other hand that his country is opposed to any foreign interference, probably referring to the intervention of Rwanda.
For him, only the African Union and ECCAS are entitled to intervene.
A wise observer from Central Africa confirms this concern about interference and in particular "
on the negotiations between President Touadéra and his Russian friends
".
