21 December 2020The Pope's almsgiver, Polish Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, has been found positive for Coronavirus, and is currently hospitalized for observation at the Gemelli Polyclinic for initial Covid-19 pneumonia.
Vatican sources report that the positivity of the pontifical almsgiver - one of the personalities of the Holy See closest to Pope Francis - was diagnosed with a throat swab carried out by the Vatican health and hygiene department.
At the Gemelli now the ritual investigations follow, while beyond the Tiber the necessary checks are being carried out among those who have come into contact with Krajewski in the last few days.
