In detail, the Department of Education and Knowledge affirmed that students of determination and students who are regular students in the distance education form are completely excluded from compulsory examination, while students with chronic health conditions will be allowed to return to school at the beginning of the second semester, provided that they submit a medical fitness letter from the specialist doctor , Which confirms the student’s ability to always be in school, along with the students ’parents signing a pledge that they understand the responsibility associated with sending their children to school.

The department announced the provision of examinations free of charge in specific centers of the "SEHA" company according to certain dates for each school during the period between December 21 and 31, 2020. To ensure that students, teachers and school personnel can receive free examinations, the department has circulated a schedule of free examinations to all private schools. She indicated that obtaining the free examination requires showing the Emirates ID card and the identification code for each school, and students and parents can communicate with the schools to find out the code assigned to the school, the location of the examination center, the specified date and other details related to the examination.

She pointed out that in the event that students or teachers wish to conduct the examinations at different dates or centers, they can go to any of the private or government clinics and health centers and conduct the examination at their own expense, noting that the examination must be conducted from the date of December 21 and beyond, while the examinations will continue. The periodicity for teachers and all school personnel during the next semester, and the department will communicate with schools to share their examination schedules at a later time.

The department confirmed that all private school students will be offered the option to return to school in the second semester, after the Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Committee in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the Department of Education and Knowledge, has received the students of all school levels in private schools in Abu Dhabi, starting from January 2021.
