Munich (dpa) - Because of the risk of fire, BMW calls 145,000 diesel cars of the brands BMW and Mini to check the cooler of the exhaust gas recirculation in the workshop.
The coolers produced in 2016 or 2017 would be checked for leaks there and replaced if necessary, said a BMW spokeswoman on Monday in Munich and confirmed a corresponding report on the online portal “kfz -betrieb”.
Accordingly, there had been recalls because of this problem.
The current recall affects vehicles in Germany, Great Britain and other countries.
