Texas has changed the method of counting new cases of coronavirus

"Without new reports from Texas, the daily number of new cases in the United States would have amounted to 231,854," the RIA Novosti center said.

So, over the past day, Texas announced 181,758 cases of COVID-19, including more than 171 thousand unconfirmed ones.

Earlier, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that 403,359 cases of coronavirus were recorded in the United States per day.
