Potsdam (dpa / bb) - According to a new poll, the AfD has fallen in favor of voters in Brandenburg, while the CDU is growing.

If there were state elections on Sunday, the AfD would get 16 percent of the vote, as the Brandenburg Barometer for the Forsa Institute for the “Märkische Allgemeine” published on Sunday showed.

In February, the AfD reached 18 percent in the previous Forsa survey.

The strongest party would continue to be the SPD of Prime Minister and SPD regional leader Dietmar Woidke with 23 percent - that is an increase of one percentage point.

The CDU would climb from 14 to 20 percent, the Greens would stay at 15 percent.

The left would fall from 15 to 12 percent, the free voters would come to 6 percent - one point less - the FDP reached 4 percent after 3 percent previously.
