Hosts Brita Zackari, Farah Abadi and Felix Sandman finally had to leave Musikhjälpen's studio on Sunday night, after 144 hours of live broadcasting.
The theme for this year's Musikhjälpen is "No human being should be left without care".
Record in commitment
At 21.00, the result for this year's fundraiser came: A total of 791,754 commitments yielded SEK 48,071,000.
- This is the highest number of engagements we have ever had in Musikhjälpen's history.
Absolutely unbelievable, said Swedish Radio's Kodjo Akolor during the broadcast.
Newkid was most wanted
Even though the commitments broke records, the final fundraiser was just over two million less than last year, when SEK 50,572,139 was collected.
At the top among the most desired songs this year were two performed by the artist Newkid in "So much better" which just had the end of the season.
He also became the most wanted artist of the year, followed by Håkan Hellström and Laleh.
The record for "Musikhjälpen" was set in 2017, when a total of SEK 74,410,363 was collected.
