Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - In the process of a life-threatening knife attack in Bad Homburg, the Frankfurt Regional Court wants to announce the verdict today.

A 28-year-old man is charged.

He is said to have seriously injured a 37-year-old man with several stitches on Rathausplatz in January.

According to the prosecution, this was preceded by a meeting of several men with profuse alcohol and drug consumption.

The prosecution requested five years imprisonment for attempted manslaughter, the defense a lower sentence without being specific.

The verdict, originally scheduled for mid-December, had to be postponed at short notice after a Covid 19 case in the detention center.
