Team Woods, made up of Tiger, winner of 15 Majors in his golfing career, and his 11-year-old son Charlie, finished 7th Sunday in the PNC Championship, a fully official Family Tournament organized by the PGA American Tour.

Twenty teams participated in this 2020 edition in Florida, all made up of a Major winner and a member of his family.

It was finally Team Thomas, made up of Justin and his father Mike, who won, 15 strokes under par, after two laps in 62 and 57 played according to the so-called "scramble" formula.

This formula makes it possible to count only the best ball of each team, at each stroke, and therefore to achieve very low scores, especially if one of the two players of the team is a Major winner.

Charlie Woods, 11, was the youngest golfer to enter.

He was very good for two days and Team Woods finally finished 7th, 10 strokes under par, after completing two laps in 62, embellished with several eagles and birdies, facing a very tough field.

"I don't really care about my game, I just want Charlie to have a great time, and enjoy it. That's what is happening," Tiger said on Saturday, after a first round started by a superb eagle from the Team Woods, on a par 5.

The absolute mimicry between father and son delighted photographers and television cameramen, the event being broadcast live on the Golf Channel: the same swing at the driving range, the same facial expressions, the same tics, the same clenched fists on the course.

"There are no words to express how I feel," said an upset Tiger Woods at the end of the second round.

Charlie was born from his marriage to Elin Nordegren, a Swedish model who gave him another child, Sam, younger than Charlie.

Behind Justin Thomas and his father, the Singh family took second place, Vijay the Indian being associated with his son Qass.

They beat Team Trevino and Team O'Meara, tied for 3rd place.
