She stated that she had recently succeeded in conducting rare and complex surgeries, which are being performed for the first time in the region, as well as providing methods and treatment methods that do not require traveling abroad to obtain them, stressing that these procedures have significantly contributed to the decline in the numbers of those wishing to receive treatment outside the country.

According to the annual statistical report issued by Dubai Health, the total number of patients treated abroad reached 733 patients in 2019, and the report showed that the highest percentage of these patients were treated in Britain, at a rate of 31.4%, followed by the number of patients in Germany by 25.5%, then in Thailand - 14.3%.

The most required treatments were for oncological diseases by 30.2%, most in Britain and Thailand, then pediatric diseases and pediatric surgery by 11.3%, most in Britain and Germany, then bone by 8.3%, most in Germany and then Britain.
