Dortmund (dpa) - Denis Gurdzhi and Aya Hatakawa have won the German championship title in figure skating.
The 17-year-old from Dortmund and the 16-year-old from Düsseldorf prevailed on Saturday in front of empty stands in the Westphalia ice sports center in Dortmund.
The long-term winners of the past few years, Paul Fentz in the men and Nicole Schott in the women, were not at the start.
Katharina Müller and Tim Dieck took the title in the ice dance pairs.
The event had been moved from Hamburg to Dortmund.
