U.S. Vice President Mike Pence has received Pfizer-Bio&Tech's COVID-19 vaccine.



On the 18th local time, Vice President Pence was vaccinated by medical staff at Walter Reed County Hospital in an office suite in the Eisenhower administrative building next to the White House.



Vice President Pence's wife, Karen Pence, and Jerome Adams, head of the Public Health Services Corps (PHSCC), responsible for US public health were also vaccinated.



Vice President Pence's vaccination was broadcast live on the same day throughout the United States.



Vice President Pence is the first to be vaccinated by Donald Trump.
