RIA Novosti reports this with reference to the country's embassy in Moscow.
"In addition to the message of the embassy dated December 18, 2020, we clarify that the transport connection between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan continues in full volume and as usual," the message says.
It is noted that the embassy appealed to citizens with a request to refrain from traveling to Dagestan in order to cross the border.
Earlier it became known that the land border between Russia and Azerbaijan is closed until March 1, 2021.
This decision was made due to the increase in morbidity in both countries.
