Police officers were locked up in the police station in Västervik

The card reader stopped working at 4 pm and the problems were not completely remedied until 6 pm.  

Police officers were both locked up and locked out.

A couple of policemen were in the courtyard and could not get out of the yard or into the police house.

The roller gate could not be unlocked manually because the cabinet was locked and the key could not be found.

The information that a server change was to be made at the time in question had not been forthcoming and the incident report states that if it had been prolonged, the impact on the business could have been catastrophic.

Now the patrol was only locked for a short while, because it was suddenly possible to open with the card reader again.
