Erfurt (dpa / th) - The Thuringian state government should involve the state parliament more closely in important decisions in the corona pandemic.

The parliament in Erfurt passed a corresponding motion from the parliamentary groups of Left, CDU, SPD and Greens on Friday.

Accordingly, the state government must ensure that its ordinances to contain the corona pandemic only come into force when parliament has been involved and has been able to give an opinion.

If the state government deviates from Parliament's position, it should justify this in writing.

Parliament should be involved in the preparation of the ordinances. If, however, there is imminent danger, parliament should be made up for. The state government must then justify this. More than two thirds of the MPs voted for the new rules for parliamentary participation in corona regulations.
