"The hope is that the citizens will adhere to the ban on firecrackers and heed the anti-corona regulations," said Werner-Siegwart Schippel, President of the Brandenburg State Fire Brigade Association, on request.

"I am not aware of any fire brigade member in Brandenburg who has canceled the service in connection with Corona," he emphasized.
96 percent of the firefighters are members of volunteer firefighters.
