Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - Two alleged trick thieves have become palpable in Frankfurt.
As the police reported on Thursday, a woman in an apartment building had noticed two strangers accompanying an 84-year-old neighbor.
When the 46-year-old spoke to her, they hurriedly disappeared with the old lady into her apartment.
Shortly afterwards, the 52-year-old daughter of the 84-year-old came into the house.
When her mother's door was not opened, she threatened the police.
Then the two alleged tricksters stormed out of the apartment and pushed the 52-year-old daughter down the stairs.
When the 46-year-old neighbor ran after them and confronted them, the man attacked her with a screwdriver and injured her stomach.
Then the man and the woman fled.
The two injured women had to be treated on an outpatient basis.
