A delegation from the Disaster Victim Identification Team at Abu Dhabi Police was briefed on the best practices and modern technologies to identify unidentified bodies during crises and disasters, during their visit to the central morgue in Abu Dhabi, affiliated with the "SEHA" company.
The team leader, Lt. Col. Musabbah Muhammad Al Kaabi, emphasized the importance of this type of visits between partners to learn the capabilities, build roles and responsibilities on them, and train the support teams according to them.
He praised the central mortuary equipment in terms of infrastructure and capabilities, which is considered the pioneer of its kind at the local, regional and international levels.
He explained that these capabilities place us in a position of responsibility to raise the level of efficiency of the team, to the best levels and the highest levels of preparedness, in relation to the disaster victim identification system.
