Corinne Lhaïk was thus marked by these interviews, and in particular the one where she interviewed Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron together.

"I saw them interact. What fascinates is the strength of the couple", explains the journalist.

"Couples who hold on like this, after 25 years, I think it's pretty rare."

"When they're not together, they text each other all the time"

The journalist goes into the details of the dynamics of the presidential couple.

For her, the president needs his wife.

"He is constantly seeking his approval on all subjects that do not fall within the stricto sensu policy. He obviously does not ask him for his opinion on European policy," she said.

"But on any subject that is somewhat personal and intimate, he turns to her."

For her part, Brigitte Macron would be "in total admiration" of her husband, which she would not spare for all that.

"She criticizes him and we feel that it all works very well", observes Corinne Lhaïk.

She even qualifies them as a "very close-knit couple".

“They can't do without each other,” she adds.

"They are together all the time and when they are not together at the Elysee, they text each other all the time."

According to the author of

, this dynamic is also due to the president's attitude towards women.

"He does not look at the legs of other women ... or the rest. He does not look at women as an assembly of parts. It is extremely rare", she analyzes.

This in fact distinguishes him de facto from former presidents of the Republic.
