Reutlingen (AP) - After an acid leak in a hall on company premises in Reutlingen, several people came to the hospital.

Corresponding detectors reported the leak of hydrofluoric acid on Thursday evening, the police said.

The employees were asked to leave the hall.

Two of them came into contact with the acid and were taken to a clinic by the ambulance service.

Eight others were also taken to a clinic for observation because there was suspicion that they had inhaled fumes.

Initially, none of the workers was in danger of death.

It was initially unclear whether and to what extent property damage occurred.

According to the police, there was no danger to the population at any time.
