Since last Friday, the Israeli violations inside the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings have escalated, and are taking a dangerous turn.

The first violation came in conjunction with the raising of the call to prayer last Friday, as the Israeli police broadcast instructions in Arabic and Hebrew to the worshipers, asking them to distance themselves, wear masks, and not gather.

And the police used loudspeakers, part of which was installed last October on the roof of Al-Aqsa Secondary School, near the Al-Asbat Gate minaret, and at Al-Matahra Gate in the western corridor of the mosque.

However, the older loudspeakers were installed directly after the electronic gates flew in 2017 on the roof of the Omariyya school near the minaret of Bab al-Ghawanimah, and at that time the occupation began establishing a sound system parallel to the audio system of the Department of Islamic Endowments, and it allowed itself a few days ago to direct instructions to those in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

It is not unlikely that loudspeakers will be used in the future to broadcast everything the police want to intimidate worshipers and disperse gatherings in an easier way, or to transmit instructions in Hebrew to the intruders and to conduct Talmudic prayers, according to Maqdisoun.

Participation of two Gulf artists

The second violation was represented by members of the Temple groups placing the Candlestick for the Festival of Lights (Hanukkah) last Sunday adjacent to the Lions Gate, one of the gates of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and extremists gathered in front of the Majlis Gate on Monday evening carrying the candlestick, demanding its entry to Al-Aqsa.

And it is a dangerous development, says Abdullah Maarouf, professor of Jerusalem studies at Istanbul May 29 University, former media and public relations official at Al-Aqsa Mosque, that “extremist groups would not have dreamed of it were it not for the whole world to see the candlestick in front of the tallest tower in the world in Dubai” .

Jews celebrate the Festival of Lights to commemorate the "inauguration of the Second Temple" in Jerusalem in 164 BC, after it was desecrated by the soldiers of the Seleucid kingdom, and the restoration of freedom of worship for the Jewish people after an era of cruel oppression.

Among the most prominent rituals and traditions of this holiday are the lighting of the candles in the eight menorah after sunset over the course of 8 nights, and the recitation of special prayers during the lighting of candles on the feast, which "commemorates the liberation of Jerusalem, the re-dedication of the Temple and the miracle of oil."

An Emirati and Bahraini delegation of communication platforms activists at Al-Buraq Wall participated in the candlestick lighting ritual, days after the celebration of the Festival of Lights in Dubai, as was shown by video recordings that some of them posted on the Internet.

According to what is known, "the erection of the menorah adjacent to the door of the tribes would not have happened had it not been for the fact that the Arab countries currently printing with the occupation state gave the green light through some actions that are clearly consistent with the vision presented by Jared Kushner, which redefines the mosque and makes it confined to buildings only," On top of it is the Al-Qibli prayer hall, which covers an area of only 3.5% of the Al-Aqsa area, while the squares that constitute 96.5% of its area are considered general and not sacred to Muslims.

A foothold for the occupation in Al-Aqsa

"For the first time in modern history, we find that some Arab countries and regimes help the occupation to have a foothold within the borders of Al-Aqsa," Maarouf said.

He expressed his regret that the UAE, with its recent positions in support of the occupation completely, has placed itself in the face of the Arab and Islamic peoples, and the belief in which more than a fifth of the world's population believes.

He added, "For the peoples, Al-Aqsa is not related to a political vision, but to a belief that Muslims believe in all over the world, and therefore the UAE has placed itself in the face of the peoples, and this confrontation will only come out of it as a loser, because standing before the peoples has always proven its loss."

More penetration

The candlestick that is erected today adjacent to the Lions Gate was previously erected in Al-Ghazali Square near it, in the hope that the extremists will then be able to get closer. It is not known that the Temple groups try to introduce the biblical symbols - including the candlestick - into the mosque, especially after the "Temple Forum" demanded in Likud, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on Monday lit a candlestick with lights inside Al-Aqsa.

The members of the forum considered that "it is inappropriate for the Jews to continue celebrating the Festival of Lights outside the Temple Mount despite the passage of two thousand years since the Diaspora, and despite the presence of the Temple Mount under Jewish sovereignty."

Jordan has been alerted to the seriousness of the recent developments, and this is what prompted King Abdullah II - according to Abdullah Maarouf - to confirm again in his speech to the throne a few days ago, that Al-Aqsa Mosque is the entire area of 144 dunums.

One of the extremists who stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday translated her indifference to the sanctity of these squares, by helping her child during the incursion round to relieve himself under a tree in the eastern square inside Al-Aqsa, according to eyewitnesses.

The last three violations cannot be separated from what has been taking place two days ago, including the attacks on the Islamic Yusufiya cemetery, which extends from Burj Al-Luqluq to Bab Al-Asbat, on an area of 14 dunums.

The bulldozers of the occupation municipality destroyed the rest of the historic stairs leading to the Yusufiya cemetery and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and demolished the western part of the “Memorial of the Martyrs” land, provided that the sweeping and demolition work would be completed in preparation for establishing a “biblical garden” in the place.

The most dangerous step

The recent developments in and around Al-Aqsa Mosque by the extremist Temple groups and the Israeli government have shown - according to what is known - that these groups see that the time is now ripe for them to move towards the most dangerous and largest step, which is the permanent presence inside Al-Aqsa, by cutting off part of its land and allocating it to the Jews. This goal was not hidden, but announced to these groups.

He concluded his speech to Al-Jazeera Net that what is always absent from the minds of Israeli, American and Arab politicians is the Palestinian people in the city of Jerusalem, who will not allow the passage of these plans, and the best example of this is their honorable stance to defend Al-Aqsa during the electronic gates gift in the summer of 2017 and the Gate of Mercy endowment in the winter of 2019.

He said, "The Jerusalemites will not accept that they are the party that cannot be taken into account in this equation, and the occupation politicians make a strategic mistake every time in neglecting the ability of Jerusalemites to overturn the equation with the equation of public deterrence in the city."
