Dresden (dpa / sn) - Saxony's Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer (CDU) has not ruled out further measures to combat the corona pandemic.

In the state parliament on Wednesday he referred to the latest evaluations by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and the Humboldt University, according to which Thuringia and Saxony led the so-called internal mobility across Germany.

If a lot of people are on the move, it is “pure poison” for fighting the pandemic.

Kretschmer announced that it would continue to evaluate the situation over the next few days and possibly decide on further measures.

Otherwise an “extreme emergency” threatens.
