Cologne (dpa) - Bundesliga soccer team 1. FC Köln reported a corona case in the function team before the game against Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday evening.
According to the club, athletic trainer Max Weuthen received a positive test result.
According to the communication, all other tests were negative.
Weuthen "felt slight cold symptoms on Monday and went straight to quarantine at home," wrote the association.
The club's training and game operations may continue in consultation with the Cologne health department, it said.
