Hope for a stimulus plan is reborn in the United States.

Democrats and Republicans agreed on Monday on a $ 908 billion stimulus package.

It must now be approved by Donald Trump's administration.

After months of indecision and political battles, this is an important step, because since July the negotiations have been slipping.

Each camp calls on its elected officials to have the text adopted before Christmas.

While the deal is on track, there are still obstacles, the main one being the validation of the Trump administration.

Nothing is won, especially as two other texts have already suffered setbacks.

One carried by the Trump administration with a 916 billion dollar aid plan, immediately rejected by the Democrats, the other by

the leader of the Republicans in the Senate, Mitch McConnell,

which amounts to 500 billion dollars .

Without an agreement by midnight Friday, the United States will face

a shutdown

.

Due to a lack of budget, the federal government and its officials will be at a standstill.

But more importantly, at least 12 million Americans will be deprived of resources overnight with the risk of being evicted from their homes and many small businesses could go out of business.

This is the end of the $ 2.2 trillion stimulus package adopted last spring.
