The Ministry of Health has been opposed to the fact that antigen tests can be carried out in pharmacies in Madrid in a generalized way, except "in areas of high incidence" of the virus.

This has been transmitted by technicians from the Ministry to technicians from the Madrid Ministry of Health in a telematic meeting held this morning

"The Ministry has been favorable to the realization of these tests in the field of population screening in high incidence areas," they have specified from

the Ministry of Health, which had presented a plan to the Government to be able to carry out these tests.

"Both administrations will hold another technical meeting in the coming days to advance the protocol for conducting these tests in pharmacies in areas with high incidence," they specify from Health.

Health asked the communities interested in carrying out these tests in pharmacies to present their plan in which they clarified how they want to do it, since for

now the European Commission requires qualified personnel to do it and following the manufacturer's instructions.

This same Monday, the Minister of Health, Enrique Ruiz Escudero, sent a letter to the Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, to request the authorization again, after 17 days since last November 27 they sent the request accompanied by a technical document "in which is detailed in a very precise and detailed way said proposal.
