China News Service, December 15th. According to a report by the US Chinese website, on the 14th local time, New York State Governor Cuomo denied allegations of sexual harassment of his former senior assistants, saying that these allegations were "not true at all."

A few days ago, it was reported that US President-elect Biden was considering Cuomo as the attorney general, but Cuomo himself expressed no interest.

According to reports, during the briefing, Cuomo said that he believed "women have the right to stand up and express their opinions" but said that the accusations made by his former assistant Lindsey Boylan were inaccurate.

"I heard about what she posted on social media and the comments she made to me, but this is not true." Cuomo said.

Boylan, who is running for the mayor of Manhattan, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

According to reports, Boylan, 36, has worked under Cuomo for about four years and served as a special adviser for economic development before leaving in 2018.

She stated on social media on December 13, 2020 that Cuomo had “sexually harassed me for many years.”

"A lot of people saw it, and then just watched it." She wrote, "I can never expect what will happen: Will I be troubled at work, or will I be harassed because of my appearance? Or will both happen? This is what I have been thinking for many years." However, Boylan did not elaborate on the situation and said he was "not interested" in talking with reporters.

It is worth noting that just the day before Boylan accused Cuomo of sexual harassment, there was news that Biden was considering Cuomo as the attorney general.

But Cuomo also said on the 14th that he is not interested in Biden's cabinet position.

"It is an honour to be considered as a candidate for the attorney general. This is a very good position." Cuomo said.

"But my job as governor of New York State is far from over...It hasn't changed my mind."
