A large rescue operation with several rescue forces, police and two ambulances was alerted at 17 o'clock on Tuesday evening when a pedestrian became inside Husum, north of Örnsköldsvik.

- Two people are taken to hospital.

Partly the one who was hit and partly a witness who was severely shocked, says Jörgen Seijsing, internal commander of the Rescue Service in Örnsköldsvik.

He has no information about how the accident happened, nor the age and gender of the injured.

- But staff on site describe it as a serious incident, he says.
