The "forgotten people of Segur" once again recalled the memory of the government.

Their demand, the object of several days of mobilization since October, has not changed: to obtain the increase of 183 euros net per month granted to their nursing colleagues.

"Same jobs, unequal wages", "same galley, pay gap, angry caregivers", "Ségur to swallow" ... Despite the festive atmosphere, the feeling of injustice was read on the coats and signs.

Police and union sources on the spot said they had 500 participants at the height of the rally, in the early afternoon.

Its secretary general Mireille Stivala announced that a new national day of action was already scheduled for January 21.
