European Medicines Authority: The procedures for approval of the Corona vaccine are proceeding at full speed

Today, Monday, the Director of the European Medicines Authority, Emir Cook, confirmed that the procedures for approving the new Corona virus vaccine in the European Union are proceeding as quickly as possible, and a decision in this regard will be issued before December 29.

"We are working around the clock to approve the first vaccine for the Coronavirus," Amir said in statements to reporters in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam.

She added that the deadlines would be "re-evaluated permanently."

The German Minister of Health, Jens Young, had called for speeding up procedures for approving the use of the Corona vaccine.

The vaccine, which was developed by Pfizer in cooperation with Biontech, has obtained approval for use in Britain.

The United States began the vaccination program on Monday after obtaining emergency approval.
