Today it is a proud principal who receives SVT Jämtland.

The ship has been turned over.

Previously, only 65 percent of students were eligible for high school.

This spring, all students had approved grades.

- Many students previously had a weak relationship with the school, they did not like being here, says Thomas Hallberg.

Special vulnerable school

The school was well aware of the Swedish Schools Inspectorate's harsh criticism;

low school results, poor study peace, insecurity and disturbing groups of boys.

When the National Agency for Education offered the school to participate in the project "Collaboration for the best school", they were quickly on the notes.

The project will support schools that have special difficulties in improving students' results on their own.

Increased adult attendance at breaks

- We have talked a lot about increasing adult attendance outside the classrooms.

It was also a lot about how we treat students and taking responsibility as adults in school.

The project started in 2019 and will be completed and evaluated in 2021. Cederbergskolan has received some government money that has been used to make the organization clear.

In addition, school and education experts have come to the school.

- It was important to have competence from outside, says Thomas Hallberg.
