Mickaël Bosredon / 20 Minutes

After a meeting on Monday, the Bordeaux train drivers announce through the voice of the Sud-rail union that they will start a strike this Friday which marks the start of the winter school holidays.

In question: "the massive loss of jobs, the deskilling of trades and the increase in postponed workloads, in particular, on train drivers", one can read in a press release.

Another strike on December 21

After discussions since September with the management of the SNCF which turned out to be unsuccessful, strike movements began in November.

“Our reflections, our analyzes, our proposals are rejected by management.

The leaders bear the responsibility for the degradation of the public service and in particular for the inconvenience caused by the days of strikes.

This demonstrates and highlights that without us, the trains no longer run, ”said the union.

A second mobilization is announced for December 21.
