All football clubs in London are required to again play the matches they host on their stadiums without public attendance, after tightening restrictions to combat the new Corona virus in the English capital.

After the number of infected people increased in London;

The English capital raised the risk of Corona virus infection to the third level, which means that sporting events will not be held with the presence of the masses.

This step is considered a heavy blow to the clubs, after they were allowed on the second of this month to attend two thousand fans in the match.

"We are frustrated by our inability to receive fans at the Emirates Stadium during our match against Southampton in the English Premier League," Arsenal said through his Twitter account.

Chelsea coach Frank Lampard explained before the decision was announced that depriving clubs of their fans during matches is a loss.

"I am disappointed. The fans came back when we were in the second level of severity of infection," Lampard said. "The field should be level."

"We have seen on the field the support that the fans do and what they do during the matches," he added.

He explained, "I do not tell the government what it should do, but at the same time I think we can control two thousand fans inside the stadium, as long as this level of restrictions apply to them, in order to keep things going."

This decision applies to Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Fulham.

Liverpool, Everton, Southampton and Brighton are the only clubs allowed to attend two thousand fans during matches held at their stadiums.
