An American woman who only recently received a letter sent in 2015 is drawing attention to the reason why she said "thank you."

On the 11th local time, foreign media such as CBS in the US introduced the story of Katrina Jones, who lives in Youngstown, Ohio, being celebrated five years late due to a delay in delivery.

Jones found a noticeable letter in his mailbox on the 10th.

Between ordinary white envelopes, a large envelope with a purple bow was sandwiched between them, and Jones, who confirmed the sender of this letter, was amazed.

Because it was the name of my mother who died two years ago.

Mr. Jones confirmed that the handwriting on the envelope was the same as his mother's handwriting.

The date I sent the letter was July 20, 2015, the day before Mr. Jones' birthday five years ago, and it was then that Mr. Jones remembered a strange thing after receiving a phone call from his mother.

At the time, my mother asked, "Did you receive my birthday letter?", but no letters arrived at home.

At that time, realizing that the birthday letter from her mother had now arrived, Jones cried in amazement and emotion.

The envelope is known to contain a happy birthday card and a Bible verse that Mr. Jones' mother liked.

While the exact reason for the late delivery of the letter is not known, Mr. Jones said, "It seems that the letter did not arrive five years ago but arrived now is the will of God. Thanks to this, I can feel the importance of this letter more desperately."
