Augsburg (dpa) - The bestselling author Jan Weiler (53) is happy to have nothing more to do with raising children.
"When I see this considerable hysteria that is present in all educational processes today, which is also transferred to the children in external hysterical states, then I am glad that I no longer have to participate," said the author of the "puberty" -Book series of the «Augsburger Allgemeine».
Weiler cited the case of a young girl at a Corona demo as an example: “There is an eleven-year-old girl at a demo and announces that she feels like Anne Frank in a Corona dictatorship.
Putting such crap on the children is almost a criminal offense. "
The bestselling author believes that he raised his own children better.
"What we did right, I believe, is that we basically did not take part in the hysteria because both my wife and I are totally unideological - in every respect."

He doesn't miss the time of raising children, said Weiler.
"Listening to these deadly boring children's radio plays or having to read 'Bobo Siebenschläfer' while driving, I don't mourn all that."
