Poland: a new march of supporters of abortion "for freedom"

In Poland, several hundred people demonstrated in the capital Warsaw.
A rally against the ruling law and justice conservative party, a month and a half after the start of an unprecedented mobilization, following the decision to almost entirely ban abortion in the country.
This Sunday, the organizers called for a "march for freedom".

Magdalena sewed a red lightning bolt on her coat, a symbol of the protest against the government.
For this actress, born in the 1980s, at the end of the communist era, the current situation is intolerable.
“
Our country had become free during all these last years.
I cannot stand or understand the current situation
, she said.
I remember my parents telling me about when they were demonstrating during the Communist era, and today we have to do it again!
We had made progress, however, we entered Europe, we had everything our parents fought for!
"
"Freedom is not guaranteed forever"
A little further, an impressive cordon of police officers blocks the procession, which then changes route.
A march for freedom also in remembrance of the establishment of martial law on December 13, 1981 by the communist regime.
A dark period which this Polish woman of about fifty remembers very well.
“
I think that the young people who take part in these protests today realize that freedom is not guaranteed forever, and that they must fight for it.
And in a way, I'm glad they're getting this lesson,
”she says.
Other gatherings also took place in several cities across the country.
