There were a few thousand walking the streets of Washington yesterday.

From the Capitol to the National Mall.

A smaller crowd than the crowd gathered at the first pro-Trump protest last month.

Red caps "Make America Great Again", flags bearing the image of the president and even some Confederate flags, the demonstrators, the vast majority of whom did not wear masks, took up the slogans now usual in this kind of gathering: "

Four more years

 ”,“

four more years

 ”or even“

 stop the steal!

 ","

Stop the flight!

Everyone remains convinced that the presidential election was marred by vast fraud, despite the lack of evidence.

Among the crowd present, members of the group Proud Boys, known for its links with the supremacists.

Some have sought to do battle with anti-Trump protesters forcing police to separate the two groups.

Ten people were arrested.

A march that comes after the setback inflicted by

the Supreme Court which rejected an appeal to contest the results

.

For lack of tangible evidence to back up accusations of "massive fraud," the fifty or so complaints filed by Donald Trump's allies across the United States have all - with one exception - been dismissed by the courts or dropped.

But President Trump congratulated himself on Twitter and thanked his supporters for their support.

The electoral college is due to meet tomorrow to officially appoint Joe Biden as the new president of the United States.
