- The woman was last seen yesterday and has been reported missing by her relatives.
We assume that she is in need and are worried that there is danger to life and health, says David Levy, duty officer at the police region Västerbotten.
The woman's car has been found in a ditch along county road 861 north of Skellefteå.
From there, the search effort is currently based.
- Missing people are on the way as well as several dog patrols.
We have a helicopter that has not been able to take off due to the weather, but we use drones.
We will also request additional resources from the Armed Forces, says David Levy.
Do not suspect any crime
The police currently do not suspect any crime behind the disappearance.
The woman is 53 years old, 162 centimeters tall with short, medium brown hair, and at the time of her disappearance wore a black half-length winter jacket.
