Berlin (dpa / bb) - Because he shot a car with an air pistol on the Berlin city motorway, a truck driver got rid of his driver's license and truck.

According to the police, the 61-year-old is said to have pulled his pistol on the A100 in the direction of Schönefeld early on Saturday morning and shot the car from the cabin.

The driver was not injured.

Before that, the truck driver is said to have pressed the 33-year-old driver several times with his headlight flasher between the Buschkrug- and Grenzallee exits.

When overtaking, he shot the pistol at the rear window, which broke.

The truck driver left the city motorway at Grenzallee.

A little later, the alerted police discovered the truck on a company premises in Nobelstrasse and temporarily arrested the driver. In the cabin she also found the gun. The driver is being investigated on suspicion of dangerous interference in road traffic and violation of the weapons law.
