Schweinfurt (dpa / lby) - Because he wanted to take a quick shower before he was released, a patient flooded the emergency room of a Schweinfurt hospital.
The police said on Saturday that there was no shower in his room.
Instead, the 26-year-old tampered with the sprinkler system, triggering the fire alarm.
"The entire emergency room ran full with three to five centimeters of water," it said.
The fire brigade arrived on Friday morning to pump out.
The estimated damage is several thousand euros.
