“As for Russia, we have transferred test systems to our partners in the union to conduct a total of over 900 thousand studies on COVID-19, we supply and will continue to supply medicines, personal protective equipment, consumables,” Putin said at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian economic council in the format of a videoconference.
He also added that the issue of supplying the Sputnik V Russian vaccine against coronavirus to the EAEU countries is currently being considered.
In October, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that Russia's partners in the EAEU should be among the first recipients of the Russian coronavirus vaccine.
