The "White Paper" revealed that from January to November 2020, procuratorial organs severely punish the high incidence and frequent crimes of destroying ecological environment and resources in accordance with the law, and the procuratorial organs of 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Zone approved the arrest of 2,140 cases of crimes of destroying ecological environment and resources, and prosecuted 13,358. The "White Paper" pointed out that the work of procuratorial organs to ensure the Yangtze River Economic Belt still needs to be further implemented, deepened, and refined.
