  The latest poll published by Dongsen News Cloud on the 10th showed that 39.3% of the interviewed people believe that the relationship between the United States and the mainland will improve in the future, 41.2% believe it will remain unchanged, and only 7.7% believe it will get worse.

In addition, 48% of the people believe that the US government under Biden will not send troops to help defend Taiwan when military conflicts break out across the strait in the future.

According to the China Times Electronic News, compared with the October survey, "If there is a military conflict between the two sides of the strait, 35.0% of the people believe that the US government under Trump will not send troops to defend Taiwan." This shows that Taiwanese believe that the US will not send troops to defend Taiwan. The proportion has increased by 13 percentage points.

  The mainland-led RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement) spans 15 countries and covers more than 2 billion people.

The survey also showed that 72.0% of the people on the island worried that Taiwan’s future economic and trade development would be affected.
